If you decide to keep your moss in an open container, display box, terrarium or a pot, make sure You Mist it at least once a day or ensure its always slightly damp, Moss likes to grow at an angle so the excess of water will be washed down. Most types of mosses will do well in almost any conditions, as they are robust plants. Most of them should do well underwater. except when it an excessive drought they can dry up and go dormant. this doesn't necessarily mean its dead it may need to be left in some water to revive it.
